With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of Mike, who left us peacefully on November 4, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born December 20, 1942, Mike was the beloved son of Walter “Buck” and Lorraine (Conklin) Mucha and dear brother of the late Barb (Mucha) Puffer. He was the cherished husband of Jane (Jenkins) Mucha, with whom he would have celebrated 65 years of marriage this coming January. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.
Mike was a devoted father to the late Eric Mucha and Leigh Ann (Mucha) Schmidt and son-in-law Dan Schmidt, and a proud “Pawpaw” to Grace (Jason) Duckworth Kegley, Evan Duckworth, Hannah Duckworth, Sydney (Luke) Mucha Spradlin, and Olivia Mucha. He also had the pleasure of knowing his son-in-law’s daughters Annie Roffe, Sarah Davis, and Taylor Schmidt and their families. His family was his greatest joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
He worked for many years in banking, known for his honesty, professionalism, and kindness. Outside of work, Mike found happiness fishing with friends, and working in his garage and garden, where his creativity and patience always shone.
Mike will be remembered for his gentle heart, steady presence, and enduring love for family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
