Jack Theo Newkirk, 62, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born March 15, 1963 in Adams County, Ohio to the late Roy Alfred and Patricia Ann Smith Newkirk.
Also surviving are a sister, Mary Kay Newkirk of Waverly; a brother, James Clarence Newkirk of Waverly; two sons, Clayton and Josh Newkirk; nephews and niece, Zachary Sexton, Heather and Garret Blanton and their sons, Lane and Trace Blanton; and many aunts, uncles and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John Alfred Newkirk and a sister, Carolyn Sue Newkirk.
Arrangements are in care of Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
