Scott Vallance, 42, of McDermott, went to be with the Lord on February 20, 2026 at his home. He was born September 21, 1983 in West Portsmouth to James and Vickie (Williams) Vallance, who both survive.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Jessie Williams and Jim and Janet Vallance; his uncles, Rick Williams and Steve Williams; and his aunt, Cindy Vallance Sheets.
Scott was a 2003 graduate of Portsmouth West High School. He worked at Harbison-Walker International Brickyard and was a member of Steel Workers Local 133. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Denver Broncos and enjoyed Billiards, BMX and spending time with his family and friends.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Jimmy (Brandy) Vallance and Christopher Vallance, nieces and nephews; Abishai, Eleason, Ethan, Brady, and Jaxson Vallance; his favorite dog Rocky, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him greatly.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Dennis Miles officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 10:30 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
