Piketon, OH – Atomic Credit Union is thrilled to announce a significant expansion at our Piketon corporate headquarters location. This location currently serves as the administrative office as well as the local branch for member services. A 5-story – 40,000 square foot addition will be constructed immediately adjacent to the existing 2-story – 18,000 square foot building on Beaver Creek Road, which was opened in 2007. A glass walk-way will seamlessly connect the two buildings.
“Unbelievably, we outgrew our existing corporate building within the first ten years of opening it. We started farming out entire departments into other branches to accommodate our growth. It will be nice to bring all administrative departments into one location to more effectively and efficiently collaborate as a team. With the addition, we will be capable of having more than 300 workstations for back-office personnel,” stated Tom Griffiths, President/CEO of Atomic Credit Union.
The project’s anticipated completion date is early summer 2026. The addition will not only serve as a beacon of progress, but also support Atomic’s continued growth and dedication to its members and the community. Billy Spencer, Atomic Board Chairman and Mayor of Piketon stated, “Since the construction of our headquarters in 2007, Atomic’s membership has grown from 20,000 to 80,000 with staffing tripling in the same period. Atomic is proud to be a leader in Southern Ohio as a large employer and strong community partner.”
