Bad customers had a field day at local businesses. At 1:15 pm, CVS employees reported that an apparently high woman was knocking things off the shelf and they wanted her gone.
Officers called a taxi for the woman and a tow truck for her call, but a friend came before the tow truck arrived and took the woman home.
Nearby at Kroger Gas, employees said a man came in, took pop and started drinking it. They said the man steals from them constantly, and they want him barred. Officers could not locate the suspect.
At 7 p.m., Dollar General employees said two men and a woman came in, grabbed a bunch of stuff, and ran out the door. The group left in a red minivan. Police took information for a report.
At 8:30, employees at Kroger Gas reported a man in wet pants harassing customers by the gas pumps. They said he’d already cussed out employees and stole something. Officers couldn’t find the guy, but they met a man in Tracy Park who said he’d headed down 9th Street.
