Stoned Man Whizzes in Woman’s Yard
A Jackson Avenue resident contacted police to report a disgusting incident just after 11:30 am.
She said there was a man urinating in her side yard who refused to leave the property. According to the caller, the man appeared to be high.
When officers arrived on the scene, they took the man into custody.
Porch Pirates Caught in the Act on Thomas Avenue
A Thomas Avenue resident contacted police to say that a neighbor had informed her they saw another neighbor steal packages from her doorstep.
When officers arrived on the scene, the neighbor gave police permission to look inside the apartment. Police recovered the packages and returned them to the woman.
Injured Man Discovered Near Dumpster on Easter Drive
Just before 6 am, officers received a report of an injured man crouched over the dumpsters near Rosemount Pavilion. Witnesses said the man had broken ribs and mud on his shirt.
When officers spoke to the man, they learned he’d injured himself playing football the previous day. Police said he was showing signs of confusion and had a history of CVA.
Officers also learned he had an open warrant from PPD. After a rescue squad cleared the man, deputies took him into custody and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
