Betsy Carver, 57, of South Shore, KY, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at her residence. She was born in South Williamson, KY, on March 4, 1969, a daughter of the late Ottis William Carver Sr and Doris McDowell Carver.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Carol Sue Carver.
Left behind to cherish her memory are two sons, Wade (Randi) Carver and Will (Christina) Carver; one sister, Carol Jayne (Danny) Wagner; two brothers, Ottis William (Mary Margaret) Carver Jr and Joseph Walter Carver; three grandchildren, Bentlee Carver, Willow Carver and William “Bucky” Carver; also known as Mimi to five, Aubree Webb, Abbey Webb, Sadie Grace Carver, Julian Cadle and Doris Sue Cadle. Betsy also leaves behind several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral Services will be at 1 P.M. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Brett Unger officiating. Burial will follow at Bennett’s Chapel Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
The family would like to invite everyone to a dinner at the First Christian Church, 21 Church Street, South Shore, KY 41175, after the funeral to celebrate Betsy’s life.
