Forensic experts have new information about the possible identity of the woman whose body was discovered last weekend by a hunter in the Lucasville area.
Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman says experts say she was a white woman between the ages of 30 and 50 of average height. Test results suggest she has been dead for less than two years.
Experts also discovered these details, which may make it easier to identify her:
She had no upper or lower teeth. Experts say the lower teeth were recently removed.
There was an abnormal growth on her right shoulder blade, which may have been noticeable.
Two right ribs were fused along the length of the ribs.
There are a number of women missing in the Southern Ohio area, and no word yet if this discovery is related to those disappearances.
Anyone with information should contact Detective Sergeant Jodi Conkel @ 740-351-1091.
