Cathy Sue McQuay, 68 of Piketon, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born on October 9, 1956 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Herman Ward and Fay Roberts Ward.
Surviving are her children; John Cassady of Piketon and Alicia Cassady of Piketon; grandchildren, Bradley Ward and Trenton Penwell; and her siblings; Tim Ward of Waverly, Tom Ward of Waverly, Brad Ward of Waverly, Darlene Ward of Waverly, Diane Plunk of Waverly and Debbie Steppe of Defiance.
Cathy was a loved mom and grandmother, an avid mushroom hunter, and a fantastic baker.
Services have been entrusted to Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
