Charles Clifford Irvine, 74, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born February 7, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio to the late James Clifford and Donna Mae Butcher Irvine. Surviving are his wife, Mary “Suzie” Irvine of Chillicothe; his children, Jason Irvine of Piketon, Douglas (Samantha Chapman) Irvine of Delaware, Ohio and Heidi (Brian) Hickman of Piketon; grandchildren, Olivia, Lillian, Oliver and Hannah; step-children, Kathryn (Kevin) Hoover, Gregory Ramsay and Nicolas Ramsay; and their children, Madison, Connor (Maddy), Jillian, Cyrus (Jordyn), Korey (Taelor), Kelton (Jasman), Kollin and Kyle; several great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Monika “Mooch” Irvine; and his fur-babies, Luke, Mia and Sydney. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Irvine.
Charles proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired after more than 30 years from USEC in Piketon. In his free time he enjoyed mushroom hunting and fishing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Merritt Post #142. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
