Officers and EMS responded to Minford after a foster mother called 9-1-1 just before 1 am to say a child in her care drank bleach. The mom said the child had thrown up but was not sure how much the child consumed.
When EMS arrived on the scene, they asked for an air ambulance. EMS met the ambulance at the Airport and transported the child to Cabel County Hospital for treatment.
