A local elementary school contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office just before 11 am to report a child out of control in the classroom.
They said the child was attacking staff and flipping desks at Northwest Elementary.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they requested an ambulance. Officers took information for a report.
PPD Called in For Out-of-Control Student
New Boston Police asked Portsmouth Police for help with an out-of-control student at the CAPE Alternative School on Glenwood.
They reported the student threatened to hit both students and teachers.
By the time PPD arrived, there were already other officers on the scene.
