A woman convicted of child endangerment and sentenced to read a parenting book is back in trouble again on the same charge.
Just before 7 pm, workers at Aldi Foods on Gallia reported a small boy alone at the store. Police responded to the scene and also called in CPS to assist.
While officers were at the store, the mother showed up. They took her into custody for child endangerment.
CPS contacted the child’s grandmother, who took custody of the child and the woman’s other children.
Officers booked Alexandria Sanders into the Scioto County Jail on charges of endangering children. Sanders has multiple arrests on child endangerment charges. She was arrested twice in June of last year. In both cases, she pleaded no contest and was sentenced to a suspended jail sentence, ordered to read a parenting book, and put under court supervision.
