Officers were called to an area children’s home after a 13-year-old resident reported that two other boys had sexually assaulted him.
The child said two other boys, aged 9 and 13, had forcefully sexually abused him and also injured him by sticking needles in his hand.
The child was taken to the medical department for treatment, and officers notified Children Services of the incident. Lawrence County Deputies forwarded the information to detectives for further review.
