Carrie Ann Whitt, 58, of Gainesville, GA, went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 13, 2026. She was born in Columbus, OH, on August 1, 1967, a daughter of Roger Kelley and the late Marie Mae White Mascaro.
Carrie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose life was centered around the people she loved most. As a homemaker, she created a warm and welcoming home, always putting her family first and ensuring they felt cared for, supported, and deeply loved.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Whitt; her children, Ashley Potter and Darrell (Aaron Brickles) Potter; and her cherished grandchildren, Gavin, Chelse, Mia, Serenity, Cayson, Cameron, and Cade. Carrie found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, and her love for them was evident in everything she did.
Carrie will be remembered for her kind heart, her strength, and the deep love she had for her family. Her presence will be greatly missed, but the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be at 4 P.M. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Bob Thompson officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday at the funeral home from 3 P.M. until the service hour. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
