Timmy Sexton, 67, of South Shore, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Portsmouth, OH, on July 12, 1958, a son of the late Russell and Aurilla Johnson Sexton.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Sexton and Paul Sexton.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia “Jenny” Hatten Sexton; two sons, Matthew (Alisha) Sexton and Mark (Alex) Sexton, both of Wheelersburg, OH; three daughters, Sharon (Mike) Colucy of Columbus, OH, Michelle Wessel of Columbus, OH, and Stacy (Ray) Brown of Catlettsburg, KY; one sister, Margaret Sexton; two brothers, Dewey (Mary Lou) Sexton and Steve (Louise) Sexton both all of South Shore, KY; eleven grandchildren, Lily Rose, Addison, Eden, Ryker, Lincoln, Ava, Braxton, Bethany, Ryan, Justin, and Bailey; along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Tera Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 1 P.M. until the service time.
