A daughter called 911 at 8 pm after she said her father hit her in the face several times in the parking lot of McDonald’s.
After arriving home, she said he pulled her from their car by the neck and took her phone. She told the officers she didn’t know why he hit her. He then dropped her off at a friend’s house to stay overnight and said he loved her and would be back later.
The woman said her mother was flying into Ohio to pick her up the next day. Officers noted the girl had marks on her face and a busted lip.
Lawrence County Deputies took photos and a statement and went to McDonald’s to obtain security footage. Officers asked that her mother contact them when she arrived in town. They said they would follow up with her father when he returned home.
