A 2-vehicle crash at 11:54 am, blocked traffic on Scioto Trail. Officers said one vehicle blocked the northbound land, and the other blocked the southbound lane.
Officers and EMS responded to the scene, and the Portsmouth Fire Department assisted in closing the road for traffic.
Police investigated the crash and arranged to have the vehicles towed.

According to the OSP crash report, Officers headed to SOMC to issue a citation to James Clifford of Dorman Drive for failure to yield/control.
The roadway opened back up around 1 pm.
