Dannette Ann Lowery, age 55 of Mentor, Ohio formerly of Huntington Township, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2024, following a courageous and selfless battle with cancer. She faced her illness with unwavering strength and grace, a testament to the resilient spirit she carried throughout her life.
Born on July 22, 1970, Dannette was raised in Huntington Township and graduated from Huntington High School. She lived by the adage “cleanliness is next to Godliness,” embodying a deep sense of pride and care in everything she did. Even through her final weeks, she continued working with purpose and dedication—a reflection of her perseverance and commitment to excellence.
Dannette was the beloved daughter of Ramona Jean and the late Gene Lowery. She was a cherished sister to Angela, Kelly (Charles), Kimberly, Jason (Rhonda), Brandon (Danielle), and the late Mary Ann. She also held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews: Danielle, Jenny (Danny), Myra, Brooke, Sarah (Keenan), Olivia, Landon, Grayson, Dakota, Mackenzie, Aubree, Harper, Riley, Gabe, Alaina, Luka, Liam, Carrie, and the late Adalynn.
Her heart was larger than life, overflowing with unconditional love for her family and friends. With a radiant smile, a vibrant personality, and a giving nature, Dannette will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home, 314 East North Street, Waverly, OH 45690. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 noon at Huntington Township Cemetery, 1205 Liberty Hill Road, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
