Delana Rae Boldman, 65, of Portsmouth, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. She was born October 30, 1958, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Paul Graham “Tucker” and Yvonne Kay “Bonnie” Sisler Boldman.
She was a teacher at CAO Headstart and retired after 30 years of service. Delana was a breast cancer survivor who was very passionate about breast cancer awareness and fundraising.
She is survived by one son, Shawn Paul Boldman; two brothers, Brian Keith Boldman and Anthony Graham Boldman; two sisters, Sonia Grubb, and Andrea Biser; eight nephews, Luke Boldman, Jacob Boldman, Chase Boldman, Cameron Nicoletta, Dawson Nicoletta, Andrew Grubb, Micah Grubb, Keifer Grubb, and eight nieces, Heather Ray, Brittany Moore, Cheyanna Myers, Jennifer Lawson, Laura Grubb, Laney Boldman, Ava Boldman, and Carly Boldman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford, with Derrick Morrison officiating. Burial will be at Martin Cemetery on Piketon Road. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
