Just after 1 am, an impromptu demolition derby broke out St. Rt. 140 after a domestic argument.
Witnesses said a man and woman were chasing each other down the road in a car and truck and ramming into each other. The pair were now in front of a home near Waite’s Church, screaming at each other.
When officers arrived on the scene, they learned that one of the registered owners of the vehicle had an open warrant through Jackson County. When deputies knocked on the door of the house, the residents refused to allow them to come inside to look for the suspect.
