A deputy responding to a report of a loud domestic ended up rescuing a dog from a dangerous situation.
The original call was for a couple fighting on Irving Street. However, when the officer arrived they learned the issue was loud music and they told the pair to turn it down. Officers received another call to the address around 6 am, complaining about a dog barking.
A deputy noted the animal had been left outside in the elements. The officer took it into the warmth and safety of the cruiser and dropped it off at the Animal Shelter.
