The Scioto County Grand Jury handed down an indictment against a Detroit man officers say used a hidden compartment to smuggle drugs into Scioto County.
Trevon Keith Parker, 26, of Detroit, faces a laundry list of charges, including multiple counts of:
- Aggravated trafficking in drugs with a major drug offender specification
- Trafficking in fentanyl-related compounds
- Possession of fentanyl
- Possessing criminal tools
- Operating a vehicle with hidden compartments to transport drugs.
Ohio State Troopers pulled him over the day before Thanksgiving for a moving violation and spotted cocaine residue on the passenger seat.
Officials say they found three pounds of crystal meth in the car along with 70 grams of fentanyl.
