Officers and EMS responded to Minford after a caller reported a dog attack.
Witnesses said a dog attacked a man and he sustained a head injury. A few minutes later, another caller said the dog also bit a woman in the arm. SCDN has learned that the dog had turned on its owners.
Minford and Clay EMS responded to the scene to treat the victims. People at the scene advised dispatch they had already put the dog down.

Around 8 pm, there was another incident involving a dog, this time in Wheelersburg. The caller said a neighbor was threatening to shoot their dog and bash their heads in. They said the neighbor was headed inside to get a weapon.
Officers spoke with all parties involved and advised them to calm down.
