Portsmouth Police responded to an Elementary School for a report of drugs found on a student.
A female student at Portsmouth East Elementary was discovered to have a vape pen containing THC in her backpack.
The school said they did not want to press charges against the student. According to them, the school would take disciplinary action. Police impounded the weed pen for destruction.

The report indicated that an additional student was also involved in the incident.
Less than 2 hours later, PPD again returned to the school for a reported incident of rape. Police notified CPS of the situation and took information for the report to initiate an investigation.
