Easter Bunny Visits Portsmouth
Scioto County Daily News recently received a very exclusive interview with the egg-hider himself, the Easter Bunny. To celebrate Easter, Peter Cottontail spent the morning driving through Portsmouth to spread holiday cheer.
Before the Easter Bunny could start cruising, he started by walking around the Market Street area and taking photos with everyone who passed by.
The drive was sponsored by Natalie Mershon, who lent us her car to tour Portsmouth, Scioto County Daily News, and Photography, Web Design and Much More. The Easter Bunny and his crew started on Market Street at 10:30 a.m. and worked their way through Chillicothe Street then onto US 52.
The group’s main destination was McDonald’s where the Easter Bunny planned to stop and take socially distant photos with any children who stopped by. On the way, Portsmouth Ambulance gave an unplanned escort, complete with sirens and three ambulances.
After spending around twenty minutes at McDonald’s and taking many great photos, the group started making their way through the Wayne Hills area to continue sharing the Easter spirit. On this leg of the trip, the Easter Bunny was able to meet with a lot of great families and kids.
The Easter Bunny concluded his morning adventure by heading back to Market Street after making a quick photo stop at Sonora’s Mexican Grill. We hope everyone who got to see the Easter Bunny got some good photos, and Scioto County Daily News wishes all of our amazing readers a very happy and safe Easter.
