EMS workers came to the aid of an elderly man after he had a scary incident at home just after 5 am.

The man called 9-1-1 to report he’d fallen out of his bed and couldn’t get up. He told dispatch he was home alone and his doors were asked. He said there was no one near to help who could unlock the door or who had a key.
He gave EMS permission to break in his back door if needed. Volunteer EMS personnel were able to get in and help the man up. He did not require a trip to the hospital.
