We have a new candidate in the worst girlfriend category. A man says his ex attacked him while he bottle-fed his kitten and then insulted his dead son.
The man told officers his ex-girlfriend had called and asked him to pick her up at a bar the previous night. He said he brought her home. However, the next morning, she came up to him while he was bottle-feeding his baby kitten and made a nasty comment about his dead son. He said he responded that her son wasn’t exactly a prize. That’s when he claims she attacked him with a hairbrush and scratched him.
Investigating officers noted the lump on his head. The man told them the woman hadn’t been to sleep for at least 16 hours and had been acting strangely.
The woman told officers he hit her in the face, but they didn’t see any marks on the woman. Officers asked if she wanted medical attention, but she told them she’d taken harder hits than that. Deputies took her into custody for domestic violence and booked her into the Lawrence County Jail.
