A 33-year-old Ironton man died after a crash on SR 522 near Green Township.
Just before 6:30 pm, Clinton Barnard was driving a motorcycle when he passed another vehicle and lost control.
He went left of center, laid down the motorcycle, and hit a truck in the oncoming lane.

Officials say Barnard died at the scene. On social media, posters remembered Mr. Barnard as a devoted husband and father and active outdoorsman.
The Ohio State Patrol says the accident is still under investigation.
