A concerned mental health professional called 911 to report a resident of a local homeless shelter had told them “he might do something bad” and that “he has a bunch of pills her could take.”
They said the man was upset over issues with his prescription services. Officers headed to the homeless shelter to check on the man.
Medical professionals issued a “pink slip” to involuntarily commit the man to the hospital for treatment. An ambulance transported him to SOMC.
