Officers responded to St. Rt. 139 after a woman said the previous owner wouldn’t get out of her new house.
She told police she bought the property for $400,000, but the previous owner had locked the door and refused to give her the code to get in, and wouldn’t leave the property.
When officers spoke to the previous owner, she said she still had some things in the home and wanted to get them out before turning the property over.
Officers brokered an agreement that the previous owners had until 11:59 pm to get their stuff and leave. The new owner promised to leave and come back later.
