Gary Keith Mullins, 57 of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Feb 17, 2025, at SOMC in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on Nov 14, 1967, a son of the late Floella Wolfenbarger Mullins.
Along with his mother he is preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Mullins.
Surviving are two daughters, Casey (Nick) Toppins of Portsmouth, Ohio and Sarah (Joey) Yarnell of Wheelersburg, Ohio. Six grandchildren Abby, Laynee, Landen, Liam, Ben, and Layla, all whom he loved and adored dearly; two sisters, Glenda (Keith) Welch of Quincy, Kentucky and Betty (Tim) Davis of Quincy, Kentucky; one brother, Jeff (Dodie) Mullins of Portsmouth, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his longtime companion, Connie Cooper, and surviving are her children, Misty Cooper of Portsmouth, Ohio, Brandon Cooper of Garrison, Kentucky, and Alisha Cooper of New Boston, Ohio.
Gary was a 1986 graduate of the Lewis County High School. He worked various jobs as a maintenance worker throughout his life. He had a kind heart and would do anything to help a loved one. He loved his family and friends and his beloved dogs, Puggy and Macy. And he always bragged about how proud of a father and papaw he was.
A memorial service will be held at 6 P.M. Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with John Lewis officiating. Gathering for family and friends will be Thursday at the funeral home from 5 P.M. until 6 P.M.
