Gladys R. Conley, 92, of Lucasville, went home to be with the Lord and the love of her life Sunday, May 5, 2024, at SOMC Hospice Care Center. She was born August 24, 1931, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Noah and Bertha (Gillum) Griffith.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David “June” Conley, on February 27, 2015; one brother, Ralph Griffith, and one sister, Rita Speights.
She is survived by one son, Roger Conley of Lucasville; one daughter, Kathy Conley-Craft of Lucasville; three grandsons, Brent (Jenn) Conley and Matthew Conley of Lucasville; Roger ( Christy) Conley, Jr. of Georgia; and two sisters, Jean Voorheis and Freda Wheeler.
She retired after many years as an office manager and was a member of Victory Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union. She enjoyed her family, her church, crocheting, and reading her Bible. Gladys touched many lives and will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Victory Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union, with Pastors Joe Ward and Mark Bales officiating. Friends may call at the Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
