The Scioto County Grand Jury indicted a 48-year-old man with 29 previous arrests on some serious drug charges during its latest session.

The Robert Castle, of Lucasville, faces multiple charges, including:
- Trafficking in a Fentanyl-Related Compound
- Trafficking in Cocaine
- Trafficking in Drugs
- Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound
- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession of Drugs
- Possessing Drug Abuse Instruments
- Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Having Weapons While Under Disability
It all started last month when New Boston police contacted the Southern Ohio Organized and Major Crimes Task Force for help around 1:30 pm for help with a drug investigation after they discovered a man passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle in the 4500 block of Gallia.
Task Force agents responded to the scene and helped NBPD search the vehicle. Agents seized fentanyl, cocaine, Alprazolam, drug paraphernalia, a 9 mm handgun, and close to $10,000 in cash.

Castle has at least 28 prior arrests, including one for felonious assault earlier in the month that he was currently out on bail for. The court set his bail at $200,000.
Previous arrests include multiple counts of probation violation, contempt, violating a protection order, domestic violence, drug trafficking, aggravated menacing, criminal damaging, assault, obstructing official business, aggravated robbery, and carrying a concealed weapon.
