When Kentucky State Troopers responded to a domestic disturbance in Greenup County on Tuesday morning, a man with gunshot wounds was found at the residence’s driveway.
It happened around 8:30 on Tuesday on Route 827 in Jeff’s Valley.
Police reported that the victim had died at the scene despite their efforts to resuscitate him.

At this time, troopers are not charging the man’s girlfriend, who allegedly fired the shots.
There will be a grand jury hearing the case, which will decide whether to charge the woman or not.
