A terrifying midday encounter on 6th Street has one woman shaken and police on the hunt.
Around 12:30 p.m., a woman dialed 911 in a panic, saying a man pointed a gun at her while she was standing outside a home on 6th Street. She gave police the suspect’s name and his license plate number. Officers swarmed the area, but the vehicle — and the man — had vanished.
Police filed a report and are investigating, but so far, no arrest has been made. The woman was not injured, but neighbors are rattled by the bold, broad-daylight threat.
