A worried woman called Portsmouth Police at 7 am to report her fears for a homeless teenager. The woman said a young teen had been sleeping in the woods behind the Sunset Bowling Alley.
She said the boy had been sleeping there with his dog for several days and that she’d taken food to him. She reported that the dog was very protective of the boy and would get aggressive if anyone approached.

The woman said the boy told her he had been there with his father, but his dad left to go to work and never came back. She told police she’d not seen the dad.
