Janet Eileene Cruse, 80, of Beaver, Ohio, died at home surrounded by her children on February 04, 2024. She was born on June 27, 1943, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter to the late Escar and Margaret (Green) Pyle.
She attended Stockdale United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Beaver VFW, American Legion Post #142, and Waverly Moose Lodge. Janet loved to crochet, bingo, line dancing and loved her grandkids.
She was survived by one son David (Rhonda) Fyffe of Minford, Ohio, five daughters Gayla (Ralph) Conley of Beaver, Ohio, Rhonda Boyd of Beaver, Ohio, Lori (Davy) Dunn of Pedro, Ohio, Amy Kyle of Minford, Ohio and Melissa (Bill) Bauer of Waverly, Ohio, one daughter-in-law Kim Fyffe of Minford, Ohio, and her loving companion “baby”, 22 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren and one sister Gladys Novotni of Canal Winchester.
In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband of 18 years, Donald Cruse; one son, Robert Fyffe; a grandson, Billy Hardin; a granddaughter, Amber Conley; six brothers, Escar, Jr., Edwin, Eugene, Clarence and Harold Pyle, and seven sisters, Mary Colegrove, Dorothy Short, Helen Frost, Louella Brigner, Lorraine Scott, Darleen Hunt and Norma Easter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Mike Simpson officiating. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery in Pike County, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday.
