Jarrod Paul Keyser,46, of McDermott left us heartbroken on July 3, 2024. He was born to Sharon Conley of McDermott, and Paul Keyser (Loretta) of Portsmouth. Left behind to grieve with his parents are his loving wife, Wendi Burns Keyser, who he married on September 15, 2007, his sons, Carter Lee Keyser and Wyatt Evan Keyser; his brothers, Austin Keyser and Aaron (Madison) Keyser; and his sister, Olivia Keyser (Nathan) Geyer.
He is also survived by Wendi’s parents, Bill and Tomi Burns; Wendi’s sister, Jenni Burns (Todd) Bradshaw; nephews, Augustus Keyser and Jackson Geyer, and nieces, Ava Rose Keyser and Madison Bradshaw.
Jarrod was a Certified Surgical Technologist and held a B.S. in Information Technology. He was employed by Stryker Corporation as an Endoscopic Specialist assigned to Surgical Services at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Jarrod graduated from Portsmouth West High School in the Class of 1996. He was an athlete in school, and has dedicated much of his life outside of work to coaching and supporting West Portsmouth Youth Sports.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Alex Bloomfield officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
