Juvenile Arrested in Swauger Valley Road Stabbing
Just after 7:30 pm on Sunday, Deputies and EMS responded to a report of a stabbing on Swauger Valley Road. Witnesses reported that the victim was conscious.
When officers arrived at the scene, they called for an air ambulance, but no one was flying due to the weather. Portsmouth Ambulance transported the victim to a Columbus Hospital for treatment.
The juvenile suspect had already left the scene, so officers issued a BOLO and began a search for him. Deputies searched for the suspect, who they said took off running whenever he saw lights until they took him into custody just after 11 pm.
The underage suspect was transported to the Ross County Juvenile Detention Center.
