Kids On The Attack
Just after 5 am, a woman contacted the police to report a child had hit its father and was causing a disturbance in the house.
An officer took the juvenile into custody and gave it a ride to its grandmother’s house. After consulting with the juvenile court, it was decided the child would be transported to the Ross County Juvenile Detention Center.
Just before 2 pm, a caller reported another child had come out swinging at its grandmother. By the time police arrived, the child had left with its guardian. Police said the grandmother did not advise of any violent acts, and since the child was no longer in the house and no longer welcome at the apartment, there was no need to take a report.
At 9:04 pm, a man contacted police to report his stepchildren had swung at him. He said he would take the boys to juvenile court to file unruly charges.
