Officers took a man into custody after a police chase that started with a report of some bizarre behavior in Wheelersburg. A woman said a man in a red Chrysler was screaming at her outside her apartment and accusing her of stealing.
Dispatch advised her to lock her doors and stay inside.
Officers responding to the scene spotted a vehicle driving away down Dogwood Ridge Road and followed it to get a license number. Deputies reported the man was driving all over the road and refusing to stop.
Police eventually caught up with the man near Lick Run Lyra and took him into custody. Officers had the vehicle towed and discovered the vehicle had been listed in the stolen vehicles database.
Police arrested the man for obstructing official business and failure to appear.
