A caller contacted 9-1-1 just after 6 pm to report they had been assaulted during a child custody exchange.
Officers responded to the scene to investigate and took a man into custody for assault.
Police booked Patrick Rooney into the Scioto County Jail.

Around 10 pm, officers responded to 7th and Waller for a report of a man and woman arguing. Officers noted both had been drinking, but it appeared the altercation was verbal.
One officer took the man to his parents’ home while another took the woman to her aunt’s place.
