Officers took a man into custody for OVI after he crashed into a utility pole in the 1600 block of 11th Street at 10:30 pm.
Dispatch contacted AEP, and the company dispatched a repair crew to the scene.
Police took Jose Carolos Hernandez Diaz into custody and also arranged to have his vehicle towed to the impound lot.
