A man who’s already wearing an ankle monitor in connection with a fatal shooting in Franklin County last November was arrested in Pike County over the weekend on drug possession charges.
Last November, 23-year-old Charlie Sanders was charged after an incident in a Clinton Township home. According to court records, he was visiting the home and the residents asked him to leave.
When he refused, they asked Korben Westberry to help get him out. Westberry showed up with a gun and told Sanders to get out. Sanders then pulled out his own weapon and shot Westberry.
He was originally arrested on murder charges. Officers booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
