A man called 911 at 11 am to let police know he’d located his stolen Chevy truck in the 2200 block of Mabert Road. The man told officers he’d made the theft report to the Sheriff’s Office earlier.
When officers arrived on the scene, they confirmed the theft report with the Sheriff’s office and determined this was indeed the missing vehicle.

Officers called for a tow truck and then spoke to witnesses in the area. One witness said the vehicle had been there for two days, but she hadn’t seen anyone with it.
Officers released the vehicle to its owner.
