Medics and deputies responded to a Lucasville home after a man had a bad reaction to psychedelic mushrooms.
The man’s mother called 9-1-1 around 4 a.m. to say her son had ingested the drugs in Pike County and had attempted to jump out a window. The family said he had several cuts and was acting combative.
Officers assisted EMS personnel in getting him into the squad, and they transported him to SOMC without incident.
