Man Seriously Injured in Otway Crash
A man was seriously injured after he crashed into a tree in Otway on Wednesday evening. According to the Ohio State Patrol, Russell Hettinger, 35, of Otway, was rounding the curve on SR-348 near Mount Joy Road in Scioto County when he lost control and slammed into a tree.
Rush/Morgan Township EMS responded to the scene and transported Mr. Hettinger to Southern Ohio Medical Center.
An air ambulance then transported him to Grant Hospital with serious injuries. The Ohio State Patrol said the crash remains under investigation.
