Michael Terry Robertson, 77 of Lucasville passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at SOMC Hospice. He was born June 14, 1946, in Scioto County, a son of the late Robert “Bob” Lee Robertson, Wilma Jane Nance Shonkwiler, and his step-father, George Shonkwiler. He retired from the Atomic Plant, was a member of Rubyville Community Church, was a jack of all trades, enjoyed helping at the church, and loved God and his family. Mike was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandpa.
He is survived by his wife, Olivia Riggs Robertson; one daughter, Cindy (James) Craft; one son, Michael Dustin Robertson; seven grandchildren, Michael Izaiha Robertson, Weston Laine Robertson, Brandon Jeffrey Schreick, Braley Nichole Schreick, Teresa Hope Craft, Mariah Jean Craft, Lana Elyse Craft; two great-grandchildren, Ivy Elizabeth Schreick, Jonah Harlan Schreick; three brothers, David (Sandy) Shonkwiler, Timothy Shonkwiler, Gregory (Pam) Shonkwiler; two sisters, Kimberly (Michael) McRoberts, Lori Ann Shonkwiler (Joe Ramey), and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, one in infancy, Dennis Shonkwiler, and Mark T. Shonkwiler. The family would like to give special thanks to Nuclear Care Partners and SOMC Hospice for their exceptional care.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Rubyville Community Church with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans and Pastor Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be at Rubyville Community Church Cemetery.
