Deputies returned to Morgan Drive to investigate reports of a shooting threat around 5 am. Officers had been at a residence the night before for reports a man planned to shoot his former girlfriend and commit suicide by cop.
A few minutes later, the suspect called back and said he’d decided not to show up. However, the complainant said she still wanted to speak with deputies. When officers arrived, they said it appeared the woman was having some type of mental health crisis, so they called for an ambulance.
However, when EMS arrived, she refused to go to the hospital. Officers took information for a report.
